Commercial floors are priced per project based on strength (MPa), slab thickness, reinforcing, joint layout, area and site access. As a rough guide, reinforced commercial slabs sit above residential pricing because of the higher-strength mix, steel and engineered joint design. The only way to know your real cost is a free on-site assessment — we'll review your loads and spec and quote it accurately.

We follow the engineer's or project specification for slab strength, thickness and reinforcing — typically 25–32 MPa or higher for warehouse and industrial use, with designed steel reinforcing and joint layout for the intended traffic. Tell us your loads (forklift, racking, pallets) and we'll pour to the spec that handles them.

Timeframes depend on the slab area, strength and finishing spec. We plan pours around your operating hours, concrete supply and finishing capacity so the slab goes down in one continuous, properly managed pour — and we'll stage the work to keep your business running where possible. We confirm the programme up front so you can plan around it.

Trowel or burnished finishes are standard for hard-wearing, abrasion-resistant surfaces that stand up to forklifts and cleaning. We can also screed to specified flatness tolerances for racking and machinery. We'll recommend the right finish for your traffic and use during the site visit.

A well-poured, properly finished commercial slab is low-maintenance — keep joints clean, reseal if specified, and address any surface wear as it arises. Correct joint design and a hard finish keep it performing under daily traffic for decades with minimal upkeep.

Yes. We schedule pours and finishing around your operating hours where possible — early starts, weekends or staged areas — to keep disruption to a minimum. We're Site Safe certified and equipped to work safely on live commercial sites.
